For this project, we warmed up by studying structures that animals build: beaver dams, bee hives, ant hills, crevice weaver spiders, and weaver birds. Our findings became inspiration as students built and designed a habitat they could live in. Each group was given different materials to experiment. These material experiments will lead to ideas for our sustainable architecture unit.
