A new spin on the classic blind contour line drawing lesson. Using Picasso’s light drawings as inspiration, we warmed-up by creating blind contour drawings on paper. Students tried to draw their friend without picking up their charcoal or looking down. We then took this idea into the dark room. Student experimentation led to more ideas and ways of using the light including outlining another student from behind.
